How to Scale up a Niagara System

Hey! I purchased an asset pack with a series of Niagara Systems, however, they’re far to big for my scene.

I tried attaching the system to a Niagara Actor and scaling that down, but only certain parts of the system scale (most notably the velocity is unaffected). Since this is a rather large system with a lot of complex emitters, I would like to find a simple way to scale the system - especially since a game mechanic hinges on programmatic scaling of the system.

Does anyone have any advice?

The quick way is to set ‘local space’ in each emitter. Then you can just scale the system down in the level using the scale widget.

However, you might find that changes some of the ways the emitters look…

Thanks! That worked for every emitter except one:

Could it be because of the type of emitter?

It to do with the other options in the emitter. I’m afraid, you have to dive in and see what’s going on. Maybe you can just turn that one off.

Hello, I am a newbie here. How to “scale widget” ??

I’m pretty sure they mean the widget called “scale”? Similar to how you can change the position and rotation of an actor, you can also change the scale?
