How to save the color of a character and in the server level?

I’m more or less looking for a tutorial or overview rather than a solution to the problem.
I’ve been looking for how to do this properly and the closest I can find is this.

I would like a clean demo blueprint that can show me how this is done. I apologize in advance if I am asking for too much… ] ]

I am trying to save the color of a character and then use that color for that character in the server level.

I can provide info with my blueprint of each but I really doubt that would help, but I can show if needed.
