I’m using After effects and have multiple storages.
Below is the storage I have.
① OS and application (PCI-Express Gen3 1TB) 3rd fastest
② Work (PCI-Express Gen4 1TB) 2nd fastest
③ Cache (PCI-Express Gen4 1TB) 1st fastest
④ Data storage (3.5HDD 8TB)
I bought a new SSD to start UE5.
(PCI-Express Gen4 2TB) 2nd fastest
I would like you to tell me, is it better to save the engine, project, cache (DDC) separately for each SSD?
Below is what I’m thinking.
Install the engine in ①.
Create a project on the new SSD.
DDC cache is stored in ④.
or,
Create engine and project on new SSD.
DDC cache is stored on HDD.
Please let me know if there is a better way.
