I’m using the foliage tool in Ue4 to paint foliage in the level and made it destructible but I can’t figure out how to save the destroyed foliage instance mesh. Since it’s placed in the editor it always is back when you play again witch is to be expected but is there a way to save all the destroyed instances and on begin play destroy all the instance mesh’s that were destroyed previously
Not sure if I fully understand, but Keep Simulation Changes might help, as it allows changes made in Simulate or Play in Editor to be made permanent. Give it a try.
When trying this when I apply keep simulated changes it says an error “no properties were cop”

Is said “no properties were copied” this error message was in the bottom right corner if that matters
