How to reset capsule rotation after root motion?

Hi there.

I used a climb wall animation as root motion so after animation is finished the capsule stays like this and I think it’s normal behavior but how can snap back the capsule to fully horizontal?

After some point I find out Mixamo animations are not UE4 standard so I’m importing them in Maya and adding a root joint by Mel script. that should works now.

Usually you don’t use rotation on root motion animations but if you need to you can rotate your actor instead of capsule.
