How to Render Points From Houdini in Unreal (USD Import or otherwise)

Hi!

I’m doing some cell-biology animation and we have a scene with about 33 million points representing atoms that we’ve been rendering in Karma. It’s fine but very slow. We’re looking into using Unreal in order to speed up our render times. All the geometry is either unconnected points with a specified pscale or instanced geo (e.g., for the bilayer geo):

I tried using the beta USD importer plugin and it pulled in all my cameras and objects, but the points don’t seem to be rendering at all:

Any suggestions on how I can get this stuff to show up in Unreal Engine?

Thanks!
Anson
