How to render only a selection of a sequence?

This is very basic but I can’t seem to find a solution: how do I render only a selection of the whole sequence?

there is probably a correct way to do it, but thats not for me… i just move the beginning and ending point to the places you want to render…

You can set a start and end frame from the Render Movie Settings:

Thanks, thought that was something about animations since it’s under that tab.
