How to remove floating grass blades

Hi, I’m new to UEFN and trying to learn the basics such as the landscaping, I have started just making a very basic map, and while sculpting I noticed that sometimes the grass blades didn’t update with the terrain-

Does anyone know why this is happening and how I might get rid of the grass?

We had a similar issue and “fixed” it by changing the engine scalability settings to low and back - it then recalculates the terrain adornment.

Thank you for your reply, sorry to be so clueless but how would I go about doing that?

I’ve noticed this on my own project, but it is only an issue that persists as long as your session. If you close down the editor and restart it (or simply close it and walk away from it at the end of the day and start it up again the next) the issue will have resolved itself. As for fix that @DubitMike mentioned, here’s a screenshot with the engine scalability setting highlighted:

Click on the scalability button, and at the top of the drop-down menu will be some preset options for scalability, ranging from “low” to “cinematic”. Change it to low, then go back to whatever you are currently using. (“high” in my case)
