how to relink the assets to their meshes and materials

hello !
I moved a lvl folder from my pc to my Mac. when I open the lvl nothing is phisycli showing in the viewport but it’s existing. when I try to look for the bug I noticed that non of the assets if connected to their matirials of static meshes :frowning: … can I relink them again? I have a lot of assets… does this have a solution or
I need to change my computer again?

How did you move the folder? If you just dragged it, it’s not surprising stuff doesn’t work :slight_smile:

You really need to use the migrate function ( right mouse ).

I understand that might be a bit of a problem, going from PC to mac. Maybe you can share your project folder from the mac so the PC can see it?

the folder was downloaded from cloud, and when I open the downloaded folder in another pc its working but between Mac and PC its not working.
pc to pc = works…
can I share the project through the editor from pc to Mac? if not how could I import the project correctly not through migrating? can I prepare the folder in the pc so it will be suitable for Mac?


found a solution !
if I open the folder through the luncher it worked !! thanks a lot for telling me not to drag folders anymore and do it through the app itself :slight_smile: will take more care of my projects now
