Hi community of Unreal Engine.
I’m creating an open world game and used several assets from Quixel Bridge and from the market. Watched a lot of videos about optimization, read forum topics and most of answers were like “Disable UE5 features, it will work faster”. I used folliage, world partition, LOD and it gave me just +some FPS. This made me pause the development for some time and wait for some improvements from the engine developers.
But a game came out named “Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden”. It’s built on UE5 and it looks just awesome and the optimization is insane. How is this possible? Does someone know the exact way they did this?
