How to re-align a problem map tile? World Composition / Sublevels

I’ve been building a map and it’s all going great, but I have a single tile that won’t align with the rest of them. Landscape brushes won’t go across the borders of this tile, while they do for every other one I’ve added.

[Pictured: Brush not going across this tile to the next. They’re disconnected?]

I’ve tried deleting and re-creating this one tile, using the “Add Adjacent Landscape Level” tooltip from right-clicking the world composition, but no luck in connecting it to the adjacent ones. My main method has been to copy an existing tile, which has worked for all of them except for this location.

It seems to be properly located, but won’t connect to the adjacent tiles. I’ve placed it using the World Composition snap immediately after creating it. In that photo above, it’s the center tile in the World Composition window.

Wonder if anybody’s seen this before, or if there’s a way to re-connect this tile manually to the adjacent tiles? Thanks and well-wishes.

Have you tried holding shift+drag in world composition? Have you solved this issue? Please let me know if you did

Unfortunately shift+drag doesn’t seem to do anything special. The tiles seem to come disconnected forever if they’re dragged off even once. Hoping there’s a solution to re-connect tiles after first generating them. Any resources on this are appreciated.

Hey, this is a bug, and i know a workaround… Just unload the tile, dont save it and exit ue4 session. Then return. This is probably a bug of origin rebasing. Check if you have this on, it could be the case. There is still no fix to this and i dont know if there will ever be - there are no actual repro steps. It happens completely randomly and im aware ue4 developers dont know this…

I solved this problem this way:
Select the broken part and search for “Landscape Proxy” option in the Details window.

Select your landscape

After this action, this part position will be changed

Now in the World Compositor window, drag a part to current place

And now is connected

I hope this helps!

What landscape actor are you selecting? I only have landscape proxies so would I need to add more landscape actors to the world composition?
