How to properly bind imported animation to a button

Hi guys,
Need some help.

How to properly bind the imported animation to the oculus button so that it works from anywhere on the map?

I import an object, drag it into the viewport and select it in the menu: animation mode: use animation asset and select my animation.

Accordingly, when you start play, it immediately plays the animation of this object.
I tried to do everything on tutorials from YouTube, such as opening a door, but with imported animation it does not work.
