Hey there! I’m adding ambient sounds to our map, and since you can’t drag drop sound cues anymore, you have to use the Radio device. Is there a way to play these soudns in the editor? It’s very cumbersome to have to launch the game just to preview the audios, especially since Live Edit is reaaaally slow right now (takes about 5-7 minutes to push changes for me).
Hi @Minos100T
is very easy. create a new folder (more easy to find file !!) Upload your .wave file (just drag and drop in the folder). Right click on it to Convert to Cue. Check it with the mouse to see the moreover menu appearing (click to play).
Hi mimmo! Thanks for the answer. What I mean is, in normal Unreal Editor, you can hit Simulate in the editor, and all the sound cues placed in the level will play as you move the camera in the viewport. This is perfect for checking the attenuation radius on the sound actors, how well things are looping, blending etc… Right now, the only way to do this in UEFN (that I could find) is to actually play the game, but it’s very cumbersome to do it, since it takes minutes to update changes.
