How to prevent autoload corrupted autosave project

I need to get access back to editor. but i checked the box that automatically loads last project which now loads a corrupted file and crashed the editor.

Finished basic level following youtube tutorials. Level crashed several times in the process. Usually auto save reloads the project but now it crashes when attempting to load autosave level. how do I disable editor from automatically loading this corrupted autosave file at startup.

remove or delete project file from your projects directory wherever you may have saved it on disk.

this will automatically load the editor in default bypassing the option to load project on startup.

a temporary bypass until epic can solve this epic problem. hopefully i can load some previous auto saves.
