How to play animation?

trying to figure out what is the correct way to do this all I’m trying to do is when I press a key on keyboard the animation plays I tried the animation asset but it keeps looping I don’t want that just want the animation to only play when I press a key.

Hi man , i hope that in the last update didnt change it.
Just take a look at the Play animation Node . he have a check to make it looping or not.
If you are using statemachine , probably there are some mistake in your and you should put a screenshot.
