I’ve seen a lot of distance-field-based methods, but they’re not what I want, and I’ve seen that most of the methods are able to receive all the grids, without being able to select a desired actor to do a separate effect, which may work for simple scenes, but if it’s a complex scene, it’s hard to control the effect.
Here’s an example of what I did with blender, like I just wanted the ball to interact with the water, and I wanted to know how to achieve a similar effect in Unreal?
