How to open from Autosave?

You just saved me 100 hours of work, I love you.

Where is this? I can’t find it in Project Settings anywhere

You should check your software’s settings for an “Auto-recovery” or “Open from Autosave” option. This might allow you to recover the most recent version automatically.

I’m right-clicking on the Content folder. There is no option called “Fix Redirector References”. There is an option called “Update Redirector References”, but it’s not doing anything at all when I select it.

Yeah… I don’t know what is going on over here on my end, but I’ve tried literally every single method everyone has recommended here and nothing is working. After following all the steps, I open my project and there’s still nothing in the content browser. All of my assets are still gone. Just empty folders. And when I try to manually open my map via “File>Open Map”, my map is nowhere to be seen anywhere.

I don’t know. I give up, I guess. Whatever.

Omg can i pleaseeee have ur help. My thing deleted and all i tried to do was copy it over. I have all my files including my autosaves but idk what a usasset file is.

You don’t open these you replace the .uasset in your content browser with the older one in your autosave. It’s just a saved copy of an older version of that same .uasset file. For exmaple, lets say your newmap is corruptwd. take whatever newmap .umap you want from the autosave folder, find the file location it would be in in your content folder, rename it to the same thing , drop it in, and delete the original .umap file. Granted, you’ll have absolutely no idea how hold that .uasset file is and how much you’ll be losing. That’s generally what source control is for.
