How to move islands to a different teams

I have tried multiple times to get my island moved to a team and its just not allowing me. I reached out to support, but they aren’t helping I’m hoping someone on here could. I create maps on Xbox and publish them on my laptop if that helps anyone. when I click the three dots to move it there is only the option to archive it and opt in for marketing

I have bad news, You are not able to move Fortnite Creative Islands to different teams, Unless you upgrade it to UEFN it can’t be moved. However keep in mind upgrading to uefn means you can no longer access it from your console.

How do i convert it? Ive downladed fortnite on my laptop so i can access if i need to update it but its the same as far as i can see

How to Obtain/Download UEFN:

  1. Open Epic Games Launcher:
  2. Search Unreal Editor For Fortnite:
  3. Obtain it (If not already owned):
  4. Go to your Library and Install it/Load it:

To convert a map you will need to find the map in the project browser, It should look something like this.

You can see if a map is able to be converted based on whether the F↓ symbol is on it, afterwards just make sure the project Name Follows the naming guidelines (no spaces/symbols etc) and hit Convert.

I’ll remind again if you upgrade to unreal editor for fortnite (UEFN) your island will only be editable through UEFN and not the normal fortnite client

IF SOMEONE ASKS YOU TO MOVE YOUR PROJECT TO ANOTHER TEAM THAT YOU ARE NOT THE OWNER YOU WILL LOSE ACCESS TO THAT MAP AND WON’T BE ABLE TO GET IT BACK. Be careful to not have your work stolen
