I don’t know exactly what you wrote, but there are probably a thousand and one ways to do this.

With pure physics, you need to set the rotation of the root bone based on whatever physics values apply.

With animations, you can create a slope blend space animation similar to those for walking/movement.

possibly, an Aim Offset can provide similar or identical results on the vehicle only (the character still needs an animation though).
