How to make the character die when the ability used long enough?

Hello friends!

I am currently trying to set an ability to my character.

The character has the ability to mimic zombies around him and that way zombies don’t notice him. But when he does this for more than 10 seconds, he becomes a zombie and player loses the control of him. So the player has to hold the key long enough before he passes the zombies around him.

I have already set the ability and cooldown system. I also added the death screen. But my problem is, I don’t know where to put the death function in the Character Blueprint.

The second problem, I want character animation to continue even though he dies. But with the controller deactivated, he continuous to walk but he walks in place.

If fix this, your help will be a lifesaver for me.
