How to make hands?

Sorry for stupid question,but how can I change 1st person view from this

to this?

You just need to attach your hand / forearm assets to the camera in the component pane of your pawn or player controller bp.

Or move the camera in the same pane.

Unfortunately i didn’t understand what you mean. I tried to delete weapon,rotate hands and move the camera but it didn’t work.

  1. create your hand meshes in a 3d program
  2. rigg them + create some animations (e.g running, walking,…)
  3. import everything
  4. create an anim bp and a blendscape -> like the existing ones (copy and paste)
  5. open the mycharacter bp
  6. go into the component tab
  7. click onto “mesh” and add your own one
  8. in the mesh properties choose your anim bp
  9. finished :smiley:

It nearly works the same as it is shown in this video: (just in 1st person :p)

I thought that i can do it somewhere in Persona without 3d program.

Unfortunately you can just view your animations/skeletal meshes in persona -> for everything else you have to use a 3d program :slight_smile:

Hmm, Good idea for a marketplace package. A bunch of arms and hands. Hahaha

We have guns, but no hands… seems kind of pointless to NOT go with your idea to be honest…

Then again we should encourage some self-modelling…
