I am trying to make a Actor fall to the ground and bounce a little. I thought this would be ease but the Actor/mesh just floats in the air where I placed it in the scene. how would one go about applying gravity/physics to the actor?

Enable physics/gravity in the class settings or defaults, I forget which
The actor does not have a physics section and the static mesh attached to the actor has the simulate physics check box greyed out and is uncheck-able. However the Sphere Collision component has a clickable simulate checkbox but does not make the static mesh fall to the ground. I’m using UE 4.19
