When I move, my weapon goes all over the screen and not holding still. I’ve tried to use layered blend per bone but with no success. I’ve stumbled upon aim offset and tried that for a bit but I didn’t look into it really. Should I use aim offset to fix this and what kind of aim offset or is there something else?
What’s your setup? Looks like the problem is in animation itself.
You can try a LookAt node. Add something useless and invisible at, say, 100m away from player.
I’ve tried to use the LookAt node but when I move, the socket would move as well and it would do the same thing. This helped me realize that animations weren’t faulty, but it was the character movement that was bad. I use TPS and FPS camera and when I’ve set “Use Controller Rotation Yaw” to TRUE I’ve forgotten to set “Orient Rotation to Movement” to FALSE.
