[LIVE TUTORIAL] How to make a Selective Scoring System with Event Binding

In this live tutorial I am going to show you how to make a Selective Scoring System Mechanic using Event Binding, which is great for UEFN or Fortnite Creative.

It is designed to:

Reward Survivors: Grant points to players who are still standing, incentivizing survival.
Exclude Eliminated Players: Ensure that those who are eliminated do not receive the rewards, often emphasizing skill or strategy in avoiding elimination.

Devices Used

  • Mutator Zone
  • Score Manager
  • 2 Triggers
  • Elimination Manager

Settings

Score Manager:
In all options, set your score value and leave score award type to : Add, activating team: any; Increment on score awarding : on

Functions:
Activate When Receiving From
Mutator Zone Device - On Player Entering Zone

No Events

Elimination Manager
Enabled on Game Start : On
Valid on Self Elimination: ( Up to you)

No Functions
Events
On Eliminated - Trigger1 - Trigger

Trigger 1
All options are on default, set to not be visible in game if you don’t want it to be shown
turn vfx and sfx off

Functions
Trigger when Receiving From
Elimination Manager - On Eliminated

On Triggered
Mutator Zone - Enable
Trigger 2 - Trigger

Trigger 2
All options are on default, set to not be visible in game if you don’t want it to be shown
turn vfx and sfx off

Trigger 1 - on Triggered

On Triggered
Mutator Zone - Disable

Mutator Zone
Make sure it is enabled on phase: None
Size it to fit your zone area

On Player Entering Zone Send Event to
Score Manager - Activate
