I’m new on Unreal engine 4 and I wonder how to make a road with a sidewalk …I model the sidewalk and the road on blender, or using cubes on unreal engine 4 ?

The recommended way is to create your meshes in blender, because bsp brushes are not so good for the performance -> they are mainly here for prototyping
You could also use a road + sidewalk mesh in combination with the spline tool

The problem with that is that textures get stretched. The problem i am having right now. It’s not a problem on the road mesh but on the sidewalk that has a very detailed texture. And i haven’t figured out how to limit the difference between spline points to the maximum length (forward axis) of the meshes. Drives me insane.
