I am new to UE4, and am the artist for the game im working on (so i am quite unfamiliar with the programming end of things), but we ran into a difficult challenge that im hoping soemone has a possible solution for:
We are looking to make a classic doom style (2d billboard characters in 3d environment) FPS multiplayer game. The tricky part is that want to make the body parts all seperate sprites so the players can pick any armor/customization features they want for the limbs and whatnot, the players will take certain amounts of damage depending on the body part that is shot.
I am aware that it will be a lot of work to animate all the different parts, so don’t worry about that. Im just curious if anyone would have some ideas on how to make this work? Thanks!
