How to make a catapult without delay?

This is my player blueprint and I want to spawn a cube or anything (actor) beneath the player and the actor will move upwards according to the “Shield” timeline. Well, i named it “Shield” because its functionality is done. Press F and you can create a shield below you or in front of you (depending on the offset).
After the actor has spawned and the timeline has completed, it delays for a few seconds and then made the player bounce upwards like catapult motion. I even noticed the player falls down to the ground faster than it got bounced off.
How can I fix the timeline to make the player get bounced off smoothly without delay?
