How to make a blend space for the character looking

I just created a game off of the third person twin stick shooter

And changing it to a third person shooter. Currently the gun is locked along the xy axis. I downloaded the animation assets off the marketplace. How do I use the two animations to move the gun when I move my mouse. Do I use a blend space or is there do i just add a variable to my current blend space
