How to integrate eye tracking

Hi All,

I have eye tracking hardware and software(not a Tobii) and would like to integrate it to Unreal.

Previously I have no expirience with Unreal at all. Genrally what I would like to achieve is to have two meshes on the screen and when looking at one of then it get focued - highlighted in red for example.

Could you please guide me here from conceptual point of view ? 
What direction(conceptual steps ) I have to take in order to get it done. 
NOTE: eye tracking libriary taking up to 5 secs to be initialized before other class can use it at runtime…
