Followed instructions at Academic Installation of Unreal Engine | Unreal Engine 5.2 Documentation | Epic Developer Community
It’s on Windows 11 and not working.
I already had a Epic install on the mirror system, so copied files as in instructions above.
Then tried a clean install of the Epic installer on the mirrored system then followed instructions.
I cleared any Project Files before porting to the mirrored system.
Although the UE engine will load and create new projects, importing old projects does not work…, it is complaining about not having administrator access to c:\program files\epic games\UE_5.4\Engine\Intermediate\ProjectFiles’
Even though UE5.4 is not installed on the system, it was removed, and the UE5.5 folders copied in.
Any help appreciated, under pressure from students for projects.
Thank you - Rose
