I’m new to Unreal and I’m attempting to make a Jigsaw Puzzle game. I have all the jigsaw puzzle pieces’ mesh ready but I have no idea on how to “project” an image individually on the puzzle pieces.
Any suggestion or advice will be very much appreciated.
I would do this exactely how real jigsaw puzzles are made. Print the picture on a cardboard and then cut out the puzzle pieces. i.e. make a plane or cube, scale iz to the size of the full jigsaw puzzle, then add the UV map, which is the most important part here, and then cut out the jigsaw puzzles. for the sides with no picture attached (backside and sides) use another material ID so the UV don’t get mixed up. After that you can just assign a material with the whole picture to each uf the puzzle parts and it should fit nicely. Let me know if you need some more informations.
