How to include smaller objects in datasmith plugin? I downloaded the datasmith plugin for ArchiCAD 25, and when linking my model to twinmotion, some small objects were missing.

Earlier in the twinmotion plugin 2020, we had the 'settings' option to 'Exclude objects smaller than:' but in the datasmith plugin there is no such option or any settings. Is there any way I can include smaller objects?

Thanks for asking this question.

This is actually a bug with the Datasmith Exporter plugin for Archicad that causes some meshes/objects to not export/import. Normally, all objects that are visible in the 3D view at the time of export/sync in Archicad should import into Twinmotion, but right now this bug causes some of those objects to go missing. The Datasmith team is currently working on a fix which should go out in a future update. I don't have an estimated time for when this is expected to be available yet.

In the meantime, we found that this issue primarily occurs when using Direct Link, but exporting to a Datasmith file usually offers much better results, either reducing the number of missing objects or exporting without any missing objects. Until the bug is fixed, exporting to .udatasmith files should allow you to work around the issue with minimal changes to your workflow. You can follow the Getting Started using the Datasmith Workflows with Twinmotion article if you aren't familiar with exporting to .udatasmith files.
