Hello everyone. I made a simple turntable animation in maya with parenting and rotating meshes. That’s it. How do I get this to play in UE4?
You have to bake the animation to your character skeleton. Then import that as an animation sequence onto your skeletal asset in ue4.
I’m not using a skeleton though.
Literally just adjusting the rotate transform of a few meshes parented together.
So if its not animated you could just use timelines in the ue4 itself to make it rotate loop 360 degrees.
I have no idea how to do that.
-But will that allow me to rotate the main mesh AND the little rotating claw?
Could you post a link of some video tutorial of something like that? im interested on doing that but sounds complicate.
