How to import own mesh Character to Rigging Toolkit

Hi,

Good day… i watch your new Tutorial but i don’t know where i can find to import my own character mesh to replace Mannequin at UE Rigging Toolkit in Maya.

Please create a details how to combine? Thanks.

Following the instructions from this tutorial:

…After you complete the section called “Creating the Final Skeleton” you can smooth bind your mesh to the rig you created with the A.R.T. (Animiation Rigging Toolkit). In other words, you would use the default “meshes” just to mimic your custom character as close as possible. Once you actually create the skeleton the segmented pieces disappear and all you have left is a skeleton ready to be smooth-bound skinned.

From that point on, you can continue using the tool with your custom mesh to adjust the skin weights as described in the tutorial.
