How to import Bloodgulch heightmap into cryengine or unreal engine?

Hello. I plan to remaster all of the halo 1 multiplayer map for cryengine or unreal (have not decided which). how do I import the map itself or heightmap in to cryengine and unreal so I can put foliage on it? Thanks!

Importing assets from a commercial game without written approval from the developer goes against the EULA. We will not be able to assist you since doing so would open up a legal liability on Epic.

If you plan to release your game with such assets commercially, you will end up in legal trouble. Even releasing it for free still doesn’t guarantee anything, so be careful. Best idea is to get approval first if you really want to go through with it, but the chances are very slim they will allow you to.
