This is the scenario I’m struggling with:
I have an fbx from maya containing a single, animated camera. I’m trying to import the keyframes into the UE5 fps rig I have in a level sequence. I can see that the keyframes get in, but they don’t do anything.
I’ve confirmed it’s the correct camera since I can keyframe the transform without import. I can confirm keyframes get imported bc I see all the curves and the values change when I scrub the timeline. Still nothing.
To combat this in UE4 I used to import the camera animation in a separate camera anim sequence of level sequence and copy paste the keyframes into the target sequence, but now that doesn’t work anymore.
What is going on? What is the expected way to import camera animations? Is it just bugged out or have I missed something obvious?
Any help appreciated, gonna hand animate the camera inside the sequencer for now
