How to I get a pin for the output of a return node?

I have a function with a return node that has an output but i don’t see a output pin on my function when i call it. I would like to be able to get the output of this return node. How do i do that?

nevermind, I think i might have just needed to compile a couple of blueprints

just had to compile a couple of blueprints and get rid of an old call to the function
