How to I change my time zone in my profile

I notice the time stamp displayed for posts is not being calculated based on my time zone but I’m not seeing any settings related to this in my profile. I don’t live at UTC, but UTC-6. What am I missing?

I don’t think its possible for people to select a time zone, I am not 100% sure(as I’ve never checked) but I think the whole forum uses the same time, if you look at the bottom of the forum it says:

All times are GMT. The time now is 11:35 PM.

I see that now. I’ve never had cause to scroll down that far. I’ve installed off-the-shelf forum software before and the user being able to set their time zone is a pretty standard feature.

Yes, you can change your time zone manually. Go to “Settings”, locate “My Account” and hit the “General Settings” tab. Scroll down to find the “Date & Time Options”. Under that section you’ll find the “Time Zone” option. Just select your local time zone and hit “Save Changes.” That’ll then update it =)
