Hello, I was wondering how to hide the main menu screen while working on the terrain as my project is just a black screen as the widget takes up the whole screen for the background. Is there anyway to disable this while I work on the terrain?
I don’t think I quite understand the question. You have a in an actor placed in the world that contains your main menu widget and you want to hide it, while you are working on other things in the same map? If that is true you can just toggle the visibility in the outliner (the little eye).
Otherwise inside the widget blueprint, you can set the the visibility to hidden or collapsed within the behaviour settings of the widget canvas.
If this isn’t what you’re after, if you could do your best to provide some more detail, I can try and help you out some more.
Hmm that doesn’t make things much clearer.
When you click start it looks like you are loading another level? If that is the case and that is the level you want to edit the terrain on, just open that level, to edit it.
I made a short video:
I’m wondering how to hide the black screen made by the menu in my face while working on the terrain because I can’t see anything else apart from the black screen which means I can’t edit anything behind it.
