How to get the Displacement map out of an ORDp map ?

Title says it all. I got an ORDp map from Quixel and since Unreal 5.4 you have to add the displacement map in the modelling section. As far as I know. So how do I export only the Displacement map from that ORDp map ?

Thanks for any help!

Just look at each of the channels in the texture editor, and take the one that has the most contrast

Hey, thanks for the reply. I know which is the displacement map of these 3… my problem is how do I setup that only the displacement map is being used ? Like the maps are in the RGB sections. If all 3 maps are active I can click on R and G so that only B is left, which is the dp map. If I then click on save, close it and reopen it then all 3 are active again.

Maybe there is something that I am still missing about the texture editor.

Say you like the look of the red channel, then in the static mesh editor, you can use the red channel to do the displacement.

The bit in the texture editor is just to see which one looks good

OMG. I am so stupid. I didn’t realize there is a “channel” section in that mesh editor. Holy moly. Thank you so much my man!!
