How to get Stats to show when using Play In > New Editor Window?

I currently need to use Play In > New Editor Window to run my game, as the game’s UI does not work using Play In > Selected Viewport.

I’d really like to be able to use the Stats that are enabled via the “Show” button in the editor viewport – i.e. Show > Stat > Engine > Detailed. Unfortunately, they work only using “Selected Viewport,” not “New Editor Window.”

Surely this should be possible somehow, in theory. I’m willing to say that if I’m not missing some hidden flag to enable this, then it’s a bug (or unimplemented feature) in UE4.

I’m running version 4.2.

Someone else should be able to comment on the “Show” button functionality, but in general if you type in “stat [category]” in the console, they should show up in the window in question.

For example “stat detailed”, “stat collision”, etc.

Also, “stat none” hides all stats.

Awesome; thanks!

I’ve been looking everywhere for this. The stats wouldn’t go away in-game and I’m in VR so this is 1000% helpful.
