How to get Realistic Animal Locomotion (Turning Left, Right etc.)?

Hey, been learning UE5 for a month now.

How can I make smooth, realistic movement when my Animal moves right/left, and properly turns in place for a quadruped?

Something that looks like this deer locomotion.

I bought a great asset on the marketplace (this Boar) with 100+ animations, all ready for any turn, event etc.

I can’t find any great tutorials on this compared to bipeds, and most animal movements look wonky, where turning left/right rotates their whole body and doesn’t fit a realistic game vibe. Are there any plugins that could help with this as well (like DragonIK etc., not sure).

Thanks! I’m not sure whether I need to go fully into blend spaces, state trees or what is required for this.
