"How to get old UE Marketplace Assets That Weren't Migrated to Fab" - WHY?? - It should be acquirable SOMEHOW.

Hello,

I’m writing because I don’t think assets from Marketplace that were up for years but not “migrated to fab by the seller” should be just sitting there inaccessible.

There’s years worth of great content that we now can’t access.

I understand arguments about updating, versions, etc. but they got to stay on Marketplace for years anyway. Why lock claims to them by default unless a seller bothers to migrate?

There’s stuff I want but can’t get now.
Stuff that wasn’t in my “vault” before.

“90%” of google searches for “modular scifi kit UE” yield a page that is a non-migrated Marketplace asset. There’s specific tools, and other things I’d planned to buy when I got the money and now can’t.

I don’t care if you use Fab over Marketplace, but the resulting cascade of years of content being inaquirable unless you had it before? I’m livid.

With my arguments in mind, this hindrance just seems completely pointless and is very frustrating. If it boils down to something like “legal” or “TOS”, then it’s truly disgusting.

If you feel the same way, regardless of how long ago this was posted, leave a reply.

Thank you for reading.

(P.S. - I’m not talking about the vault I’m talking about acquiring content on there I hadn’t before.)
