How to get NPC to use AimOffset




Hey guys. Im SUPER new to unreal engine. Im trying to make an enemy bot that rotates to the player and shoots a projectile at them. I made an aim offset for the bots for when the player jumps but i just cant get it to work. I have been trying for the past few days and i just dont know what ive done wrong and i dont know why its not animating. Ive included the blueprints i used to make the bot rotate toward the player. Ive also included screenshots of the animation blueprint and a screenshot of the bot rotating its whole body downward to face the player (That is the issue im trying to fix)

I am extremely new to UE (6 days old to be exact) so feel free to show me a better way to do things. Also let me know if there are any possible settings i might have set incorectly. Thanks in advance.

You might have better results setting the Control Rotation on the NPC’s controller.
