I am using livelink to stream Data directly from the MOCAP software i am using, but i want my character to be able to trigger events based on the movements and the animations, so for example if the character raised its hand, a flame will appear.
I am struggling with this since in the livelink nodes, its hard to separate the data(At least for me)(In the animation blueprint i only have the livelink node pose in the state machine)
One idea is that i thought about building a control rig around the skeletal mesh and maybe then i could pick up the data( I am not sure about this method but it is just an idea i had)
Any help would be much appreciated.
