So your meaning set the DOWNSCALE IMAGES BEFORE TEXTURING to = 1 or ONE so its use full resolution images for texture calculation.
If you set 2 = two it would downscale image 2 times, so say have 18 Mpix image so it will be downscaled to 4,5 Mpix and then used for actual calculation of TXTR.
when you set it then need to go second step:
UNWRAP tool -> set say 16k txtr resolution and INCREASE the MAXIMAL TEXTURE COUNT -> click on UNWRAP
whenit finish inspect the result like in previous reply, so you see its TEXTURE QUALITY . if its not 100 % then INCREASE the MAx TEXTURE COUNT and hit UNWRAP again to see if get to the 100 %.
I need to Change the setting of the unwrap after the texture/color steps done ? or just setting the value then do the color/texture work ?
