How to get 2D rig blink to work properly

Hello all! I’ve been following @Kher.exe ‘s tutorial for creating 2D rigs in unreal. https://youtu.be/ztHUUKZOiRg?si=BKl_2Yf28rzmTfdj

I’m currently stuck on part 2. Every other part of my rig is working properly but setting up the blink (the section in the video called Eye Sprite Sheets Animation) doesn’t work. The controller moves but it doesn’t switch between the eye sprites. I can change the eye sprites perfectly in the material instance, but for whatever reason it doesn’t correspond with my model. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated ToT
