How to fix SVG OpenType Color Font Glyphs from turning Grey?

I am creating OpenType font files (.otf) for a game being created in Unreal. The fonts are color fonts, with up to five different colors per glyph. The font colors are meant to be unchangeable by the user. When the font is used in Unreal however, the glyphs lose all color and become a neutral, featureless grey. Is there a way to fix this so that the font’s natural colors actually show up?
