Hi folks. There’s an issue that my streaming pool used max :0 MB, but my non-streaming mips is larger than its pool capacity. So does it means streaming pool doesn’t work, all go through the non-streaming mips? I’d appreciate your replies.
any news?
According to my findings for some reason sometimes NonStreaming Mips take space from Streaming pool (usually more than it’s size) hence forcing it to fall to zero. At the same time some PC’s in our company (usually with more performance) ignoring all NonStreaming Mips and using (as requird pool) just several percent of streeaming pool and streaming pool is not zeroed (holding on our 3000 default)
BTW when I force “r.streaming.PoolSize 0” texturs are loaded in full quality, but stat streaming is still showing resulst like without streaming pool size (no stats for straming category)
Whole this issue is triggered by play-mode and persist after exiting. Before play-mode stat streaming is behaving normally.
Is there any clue what to check, to what to set up to control NonStreaming Mips where to allocate? Or any other explanation for this behaviour?
bumping post, did you find a solution?
Hi team,
Seemed to have fixed issue by reducing nonstreaming mibs
