How to fix bugged World Partition Landscape regions in minimap

My landscape regions are completely messed up and all over the place, specifically in the minimap. The regions are totally fine and function as expected in the viewport.

In the minimap, they appear and disappear randomly and otherwise behave weirdly.

(Would have loved to upload the video here instead of using a third-party host, but video uploads get infinitely stuck at 100%, so that’s great…)

When I select the regions from the viewport, additional regions appear on the minimap, but in the wrong place.

This is what the minimap looks like when all the regions are selected from the viewport. As you can see, they appear to be way outside the minimap area, even though they are not. The player position and landscape size in minimap are correct as compared to the viewport.

The regions appeared to be initially correct in the minimap. The issue first appeared after scaling and moving the landscape.

Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Okay, I tried to just recreate the landscape. This time setting the correct scale from the start, thinking maybe that way the regions would behave.

This time, initially I saw no regions at all in the minimap. Okay, weird, but whatever. Then after capturing the minimap texture, the regions appeared and now everything is great.

So yeah, if you call starting over a solution, then yeah, I suppose this is it.

I still have no idea what caused it. Presumable scaling and or moving the landscape after creation, but I thought you were supposed to be able to do that…
I’ll leave this unsolved for now, but will mark this as the solution later if no better (not having to start over with a new landscape) solutions get posted.
